When skin is completely dry, moisturizer isn’t absorbed as effectively. Damp skin helps to trap water in your surface cells, helps give skin a nice “dewy” look and helps prevent evaporation (meaning your moisturizer’s benefits will last longer).
It’s really that easy…just give your skin a quick splash of water before moisturizer application. A hydrating toning mist can also do the trick. Just remember, the key is “damp” skin (not completely wet).
