What is your return and exchange policy?
Due to the hand crafted and small batch nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges. We offer mini sizes of our entire personal care line, so that you can try before splurging on a full size.
We do want you to have a happy MMT experience, so if you are unsatisfied in any way, contact us and we'll find a solution. Any discrepancies with your order should be addressed within 7 days of receiving it.
Do you offer free shipping?
YES! When you spend $50 or more and live in the US.
What is your shipping method?
We ship USPS internationally. Shipments to Canada are a flat $25 or less. Shipments to the rest of the world are $45. Please note that international shipping can take up to one month to arrive. We offer our U.S. customers the option to choose First Class shipping, please note that it may take up to 10 days to arrive. Priority mail is a faster option but it is not guaranteed. Please contact us prior to placing your order if you need to receive your shipment by a specific date.
Do you ship everyday?
Almost... We are a teeny company and many of our products are made to order, in small batches, by hand, so we may not ship as fast as the large companies. Our in house turnaround times are typically 2-3 business days (this does not include the USPS transit time). If you're placing a rush order, write us a quick note at firstname.lastname@example.org before you checkout, and we'll do our best to meet your timeline. PLEASE NOTE: We do not guarantee shipping times unless we correspond prior to the order being placed.
I am located in upstate NY, can I pick up to save on shipping?
Yes, we offer studio pickups by appointment. Order through our website and choose "Studio Pickup" at checkout. We'll contact you to arrange a pickup time.
Are your products or ingredients tested on animals?
Are your products vegan?
YES! And so are we! So you can always expect the highest and most ethical standards when it comes to sourcing and testing our ingredients. Seriously, what would you expect from a company called Meow Meow Tweet?
Do you use Fair Trade ingredients?
Yes! Our cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil and coffee are all fair trade.
Does your baking soda contain aluminum?
Baking soda NEVER contains aluminum. We use Bobs Red Mill which is mined naturally in Colorado- however that aluminum free claim on their packaging is a little misleading. In short, it's baking POWDER that you're thinking of... We think Crunchy Betty explains it best here.
Are your products gluten free?
Almost! We recently re-sourced many of our ingredients so that they would be gluten free (all of our oats, starches and botanicals). However, the beer in our shampoo bar does contain gluten.
I'm pregnant, which products are suitable for me?
Check out this
blog post for general essential oil safety info. While our products are all natural and made with amazing ingredients, essential oils are very potent and there are contraindications when you are pregnant. It's important to talk to your physician about the products you're using too.
How do I know if I have allergies to your products?
Please be aware of any skin allergies you may have before using our products. If you have a history of sensitivities or allergies, perform a skin test first. We offer mini sizes of our entire personal care line so that you can try before your splurge on the full size. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult your physician before using any products containing essential oils. Do you offer free samples?
Generally, no. We are a teeny company and so we can't afford to give out a lot of free samples. We do offer mini sizes of all of our personal care products here. We're happy to include a free sample with your order if you leave us a note during checkout.
What happened to your rewards program?
Thanks to those of you that participated in our Pilot Rewards Program! So that we can offer even better ways to save, our original rewards program ended in March 2017. What is the little white date sticker on the bottom of my product?
This is the manufacturing date. We use this as an internal batch number to track some of the products we make.
What is the cute little symbol that looks like a jar with a number in it, next to the barcode on my product?
This is called a PAO symbol. The number in the jar symbol denotes the shelf life of your product after you open it. Please store your product out of sunlight and heat to ensure the longest possible shelf life.
Do you do custom work?
