Returns + Shipping

What is your return policy?

Due to the small batch and natural qualities of our products, we don’t accept returns or exchanges. We offer mini sizes of nearly every product so you can try it first before splurging on a full size.

If you’re unhappy with your purchase please contact us at hello@meowmeowtweet.com and we’ll do our best to help you get the most out of it! Any damages or discrepancies must be addressed within 7 days of receiving it. We stand behind our products and will do everything we can to ensure you have a positive MMT experience.

Any refunds that are made will be issued as store credit.

Do you offer free or flat rate shipping?

YES!

United States -
$5 flat rate when you spend under $50.
Free shipping when you spend $50 or more.
This includes our subscription products.

Canada -
$15 flat rate when you spend under $75.
Free shipping when you spend $75 or more.

Rest of the World -
$25 flat rate when you spend under $100.
Free shipping when you spend $100 or more.

U.S. orders ship via USPS unless you choose a UPS method. For Canada and the rest of the world we ship using DHL. Duties and taxes are responsibility of the buyer.

What is your shipping method?

In the U.S., we ship USPS and UPS. Our flat rate and free shipping offers ships via USPS and take up to 7-10 business days. Shipping times start once your order ships. Our in-house processing time is 1-3 business days depending on the time of year.

Orders to Canada and the rest of the world ship via DHL. Taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer.

What shipping materials do you use?

We ship 100% plastic free using biodegradable/compostable corn-based packing peanuts, paper, cardboard and paper tape. We reuse shipping boxes and materials whenever possible.

What should I do if my package is missing?

For issues with delivery or tracking, the easiest and fastest way to get a resolution is to reach out directly to the shipping company, your neighbors or the local post office. Sometimes carriers will prematurely mark shipments as “delivered,” or need additional information from you to complete the delivery.

Will I be charged international duties and/or taxes?

Customs duties and fees are the responsibility of the buyer. International shipments are subject to duties and fees that vary by country and are based on the value of your order. The amount calculated depends on the destination country's tax and valuation method.

Ingredients + Safety

Are your products or ingredients tested on animals?

NO! Our products are certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny.

Are your products vegan?

YES! And so are we! So you can always expect the highest and most ethical standards when it comes to sourcing and testing our ingredients. Seriously, what would you expect from a company called Meow Meow Tweet?

Are your products palm free?

YES! All our products are 100% palm oil free including any derivatives of palm.

Do you use Fair Trade ingredients?

Yes! Our cocoa butter, shea butter, sugar, coconut oil and coffee are all fair trade.

Does your baking soda contain aluminum?

Baking soda NEVER contains aluminum. We use Bobs Red Mill which is mined naturally in Colorado- however that aluminum free claim on their packaging is a little misleading. In short, it's baking POWDER that you're thinking of... We think Crunchy Betty explains it best here.

Are your products gluten free?

Yes! Our ingredients are 100% gluten free, even the oats in our soap.

I'm pregnant, which products are suitable for me?

Check out this blog post for general essential oil safety info. While our products are all natural and made with amazing ingredients, essential oils are very potent and there are contraindications when you are pregnant. It's important to talk to your physician about the products you're using too.

How do I know if I have allergies to your products?

Please be aware of any skin allergies you may have before using our products. If you have a history of sensitivities or allergies, perform a skin test first. We offer mini sizes of our entire personal care line so that you can try before you splurge on the full size. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult your physician before using any products containing essential oils.

Other Stuff

Do you offer free samples?

Generally, no. We are a teeny company and so we can't afford to give out a lot of free samples. We do offer mini sizes of all of our personal care products.

What is the little white date sticker or number on the bottom of my product?

This is the manufacturing date or the batch number. We use this as an internal batch number to track the products we make. Feel free to write us if you want the manufacture date associated with your batch number.

What is the shelf life of your products?

All products except deodorant sticks and lip balms:
Shelf life unopened → 12 months
Shelf life after opening → 6 months

Deodorant sticks and lip balms:
Shelf life unopened → 6 months
Shelf life after opening → 3 months

How do I return my empty BULK UP! containers for reuse?

See our BULK return program here.

How do I dispose of the plastic pumps in the packaging?

First. Sterilize them and reuse them with one of our bulk refills! That's the easiest and most sustainable option.

If you're keen to get rid of them... do you have access to a Terracycle drop off? If not, simply save 2 or more of our pumps and when you have a decent collection, sign up to send them back to us here. We will Terracycle them for you!
